“We’re calling to find out when you are opening. Send us a newsletter or call me back when you know something!” I love these messages you are leaving on the spa’s phone number. I have no qualms telling you I am running on fumes! Just hearing those messages is the equivalent of drinking three Mountain Dews and eating a dozen donuts in one sitting – it fills my tank and I’m off and running again!
I know you are wondering what ARE we doing and WHAT is taking so long? Two words: improvement and fire sprinkler system – ok, that is five words.
I – along with my “war room” staff, are evaluating and improving upon everything. “Freshening” our menus, specials, packages, promotions, products, services, adding staff, selecting new uniforms to upgrading to a POS software system – you name it – we’ve evaluated it! I’ve selected the perfect chandeliers, fabrics, paints, flooring and helped design a breathtaking fireplace – you will enjoy the efforts I promise!
The fire sprinkler system was bid for one week completion – it took three! If you are hiring a fire sprinkler sub-contractor, take my advice. Tell them about your water torture system that will be inflicted if they miss their completion date before hiring them.
What is left? A little more painting, counter tops, dropping sinks, carpet, and hanging chandeliers. (I have told each of theses remaining subs that my staff just learned a new treatment they are really anxious to try - driving bamboo shoots up fingernails and they will be our first client if they miss their timeframes! That is not a new treatment on our new menu just so you know, so don’t try booking it for your spouse!)
I am “chatting you up a bit” in this entry but I am very excited. I, and the staff, have enjoyed every minute of this journey which truly has no destination. It is an ever changing, ever evolving effort. I have some more news I am biting my fingernails to keep from telling you just yet! But I will tell you that soon you will receive details about our Customer Appreciation Night coming soon – designed just for you. I hope you can attend. It will be a fabulous evening. Wonderfully Crazy
| Things have been wonderfully crazy as we prepare to relocate to offer you a spa that meets even more of your beauty and relaxation needs. This spa is going to be amazing. I'm so excited!!! There are so many changes I need to share with you. I don't know where to start. But, here we go. We will be closed until August as we prepare to reopen. I'll provide details about our grand opening soon. Your new spa will be located at 5881 Virginia Pkwy (Virginia and Ridge Rd.) in McKinney.
